Philanthropic Focus

Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Food insecurity affects every race, age and community, including the communities where we are placed. That is why we want to be a part of the solution. Partnering with national and local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities. We are committed to contributing to the world’s work as our Purpose calls us to do. As a sisterhood, we work together to make a greater impact.

Our impact is enhanced through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. They provide fighting hunger grants to various organizations that are doing their part in their local community to fight hunger. Campus Involvement

On campus, we are involved in organizations such as Student Recruiter, Warhawk Disability Alliance, Baptist Campus Ministries, and so much more! We love to work with the Honors program to donate canned goods and other hygiene products to the Honors College Food Pantry for underprivileged students. In our community, we are partners with Montgomery Humane Shelter, Heart of Alabama Food Bank (Previously Montgomery Area Food Bank), Brantwood Children's Home, Food Bank of East Alabama, Elmore County Food Pantry, and various nursing/assisted living homes. On campus or in our community, we strive to make a huge impact.
